A Boutique Hotel on the Embarcadero
Ferry Building Marketplace: Right at the foot of Market Street and your starting point for a cruise on the Bay or a visit to Sausalito, the Ferry Building and the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace pays tribute to food in all its forms. You'll find everything from artisan cheeses to the freshest of local fish, handmade chocolates to gourmet burritos, bookstores and kitchenware stores. Restaurants and cafes serve cuisine celebrating the quality and cultural diversity of San Francisco's best chefs. Stroll through the Ferry Building Marketplace and explore all the richness the greater Bay Area has to offer.
The Embarcadero Center. Very cool shops and lots of delicious food. There's also the Landmark Embarcadero Cinema, known more for its support of the independent film community than showing big blockbusters. Steps away is the turn-around for the California Street cable car line, which will easily carry you up to the top of Nob Hill and down the other side. Our Embarcadero hotel is located just three blocks from the Center.
The F-Line and Fisherman's Wharf. This brand new rail system will whisk you along the Embarcadero, from Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, where you can experience a simulated earthquake, walk through a giant aquarium, feast on clam chowder in a sourdough bowl or photograph the resident sea lions.
The Rincon Center. Outside, it's a beautiful post office from the 1920s. Inside, a bevy of shops. Look at the murals on the walls, gaze at the five-story open waterfall...and then send off the postcards you've written at the nearby post office.
The Financial District. Here is where the work gets done. Just blocks from the hotel, and even closer if you choose to take the complimentary hotel town car to the office.
AT&T Park - Home of the San Francisco Giants: With stunning views inside and out, the ballpark is an easy walk that takes just minutes from the Harbor Court Hotel. Columnist Peter Gammons wrote, "It's hard to say what's best about AT&T Park, except that it is San Francisco." Situated along the waterfront and anchoring the south end of San Francisco's SOMA district, there's really not a bad seat to be had — even AT&T Park's so-called worst seats feature a view of the Bay Bridge and the nearby marina.
From the nine-foot bronze statue of Hall of Famer Willie Mays at the entrance of the red brick stadium to McCovey Cove beyond right field (where the kayakers battle to retrieve home runs hit over the wall) to the 80-foot Coca-Cola bottle with playground slides and a miniature AT&T Park behind left field (a magnet for kids of all ages), AT&T Park wins the title of a classic urban ballpark with all the modern amenities.
