A Fortnight Full of Laughter at the SF Sketchfest

January may be one of the chillier times of the year, but it’s still a comedy lover's paradise here in San Francisco at the SF Sketchfest. Now in its 17th year, this Northern California favorite offers up two weeks of side-splitting improv, sketch, stand-up, and film for your viewing pleasure.

Commemorate the 40th anniversary of Animal House with a special screening and panel discussion, featuring director John Landis, producer Sean Daniels, and actors Tim Matheson, Peter Riegert, and Mark Metcalf, among others. See the Emmy Award-winning creator and star of The Office Ricky Gervais interview comic genius Christopher Guest, who's brought you such films as Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, and A Mighty Wind. Join legendary talk show host Dick Cavett as chats with Dave Hill, John Hodgman, and Lance Bangs in an evening that will feature unaired footage from The Dick Cavett Show. And that’s just a very small sampling of what’s in store from January 11th through the 28th at the 17th annual SF Sketchfest.
